Onfleet Named a Representative Vendor in Gartner® Market Guides for the Fifth Time
4 min read

Today, we're proud to share that Onfleet has been named a Representative Vendor in Gartner® Market Guides for the fifth time.

This recognition reflects Onfleet's continued inclusion in Gartner research covering last-mile delivery technology as customer expectations, delivery models, and logistics operations continue to evolve. It is not an award or endorsement, but recognition that Onfleet is included among the vendors covered in Gartner's independent market research. (Gartner).

What It Means to Be Included in Gartner® Market Guides

Technology decisions have long-term consequences, especially for delivery operations that support thousands of orders every day.

Gartner® Market Guides are designed to help technology leaders understand emerging markets, evaluate available solutions, and identify Representative Vendors. Rather than ranking vendors or recommending a single solution, they provide independent research into market trends, evolving capabilities, and the technologies shaping the future of an industry.

For Onfleet, being recognized across five years reflects something we're especially proud of: our continued focus on building technology that helps businesses adapt as last-mile delivery continues to evolve.

Last-Mile Delivery Has Changed

The last-mile delivery landscape looks very different today than it did five years ago.

Parcel volumes have continued to grow. Customer expectations have shifted from simply receiving an order on time to choosing how, when, and where it arrives. Many organizations now operate hybrid delivery networks that combine private fleets with regional carriers, local couriers, and third-party delivery partners.

As those challenges have evolved, so has Onfleet.

We've continued expanding our platform to help businesses simplify increasingly complex delivery operations while giving dispatchers, drivers, and customers a better delivery experience.

Today, more than 400 million deliveries have been completed using Onfleet, supporting organizations across pharmacy, food delivery, and other industries where delivery execution directly impacts customer satisfaction.

How Onfleet Is Evolving With the Market

The last mile is changing quickly, and Gartner's Market Guides have consistently highlighted the trends reshaping the industry. Organizations are being asked to manage increasingly complex delivery operations while meeting higher customer expectations and controlling costs.

Among the capabilities Gartner has identified as shaping the future of last-mile delivery are:

  • Delivery orchestration across both internal fleets and third-party delivery partners.
  • Customer visibility and communication, including real-time tracking and proactive delivery updates.
  • AI-powered automation to optimize routing, dispatch, and operational decision-making.
  • Greater flexibility and scalability as businesses adapt to growing delivery volumes and evolving fulfillment models.

These are also the areas where Onfleet has continued to innovate.

Today, our platform helps businesses manage deliveries from a single place, whether they're fulfilled by an in-house fleet, trusted delivery partners, or a combination of both. For businesses that need additional capacity, Onfleet also provides access to a network of trusted third-party delivery providers.

As delivery operations continue to evolve, we're continuing to invest in the orchestration, visibility, and AI-powered capabilities that help businesses adapt to what's next.

Innovation Starts With Our Customers

We've stayed close to something that's easy to lose sight of as a platform grows: the people actually running these operations day to day.

Every conversation with delivery operators helps us better understand what actually creates value in day-to-day operations. That feedback directly influences our roadmap, from workflow improvements to new automation capabilities.

The result is software designed around real operational challenges instead of assumptions.

As Onfleet grows, we've remained committed to making powerful technology approachable. We believe great software should reduce complexity, not create it.

Software that slows a team down doesn't get used, no matter how capable it looks on a feature list. Software that makes the job easier gets adopted, trusted, and relied on. That's the bar we hold ourselves to, year over year.

"The features, everything is just very seamless for the team. It's easy, right? It's not something that you have to break your head over. If you understand English, I think you could pretty much just use Onfleet."

Looking Ahead

Being named a Representative Vendor for five years is something we're incredibly proud of, but we see it as a reflection of consistency rather than a finish line.

"Last mile continues to evolve at an incredible pace, and so do our customers," said Andew, CEO Onfleet. "Our job is to keep building technology that helps delivery organizations adapt with confidence. We're grateful to our customers for trusting us with such a critical part of their business, and we'll continue investing in the innovation that helps them deliver exceptional experiences every day. We’re also grateful to our partners, and our team for helping us earn this kind of recognition, year after year. Here's to the next five.”
